**GA APPROVED CDL TRAINING SCHOOL**
Our classroom training prepares students for the Georgia permit test. You will receive federally mandated entry level driver training, learn about current hours of service regulations, and how to properly fill out and maintain a logbook. We provide the necessary skills needed to be a successful professional truck driver. It takes effort and commitment but can be done in as little as a few weeks.
The permit test Includes: General knowledge, air brakes, combination vehicles, hazardous materials, doubles & triples, and passenger.
During field training you’ll learn all the basic skills needed as a professional driver. You’ll learn to properly pre-trip your vehicle, in-transit and post trip inspections, how to properly couple and uncouple your trailer, and various backing techniques from straight line backing to sight side and blind side parallel parking, as well as alley docks.
The CDL test consists of three parts: Pre-Trip Inspection, Skills Test (backing), and the Road Driving Test.
All CDL testing in Georgia is conducted by the Georgia Department of Driver Services.
Weekend class attendees receive the same curriculum as the weekday program. It is conducted over eight weekends for a total of 16 days of training.
